how to read data for workitem id in SWWCNTP0 ?

Hi ,

can anybody guide on how this table SWWCNTP0 get updated ?

this table has field workitem id , i can able to find logs for workitem id updated in this table .

but if i try to pass any existing workitem id to this table , entries are not avaible ? can somebody tell why ?

SWWCNTP0 entries strored based on settings for the persistence profile of a workflow via the Workflow Builder (Transaction SWDD) => Basic Data (Button with Hat icon) => Version Dependent tab => Control tab .
