Invoice line adding slow on system form

Hi This is not a development question but hoping that someone has come across this before.

System SAP Business One 2004A (SQl Server)

Just upgraded SAP Business One to patch 26 and then to 34 straight after. ( since upgrade to 34 required 26)

The system was on patch 18.

Ever since the patch upgrade, sales order screens run very slow with regards to adding item lines.

Details: enter an item, tab , enter the quantity , enter the price . Then press the down arrow key to get to the next line. At this instance Business One scans and re-scans serveral fields in all lines in the grid a few times( quite visible to the eye) and only after that moves to the next line. The delay is longer when you have more lines in the order.

This was never experienced before on patch 18.

I copied the database to my development machine with same results.

Plus it took about 10 secs to add a 7 line order on a reasonalby fast machine ( 700 MB RAM - running server and client).

This slowness was not noted on any other activity withn B1. Also on my development machine any other companies do not have this issue. I have trucncated the transaction log to 768kb too with no change.

Thanks,

Indika.

    Hi Indika,

If you have formatted searches on the sales order, just do a fast test. Try removing them, and then add the lines.

This use to happen to within forms with formatted searches.
