Hi Experts,

while working on PE51 i am finding wagetypes with -ive signs,

after doing r and d, i found the conversion and changed 40 to 19 in linelayout.

and got the signs removed but after this the calculation is coming wrong instead of geting the right balance.

what could be done more to get the right balance.

- Thanks and regards,

Hi,

For customer Deduction wage type while assigning in W2 Window we will assign PTYP as 01 and CTYP as X.

1. Go to Line layout copy 01 T line and 01 X line to your own line say 99 T & 99 X

2.  Now in 99 X BETRG change conversion to 41

3.  Go to Window tab and W2 window and assign 99 X as PTYP & CTYP to customer Deduction  wage types

Hi Srikrishna,

we have already maintained PTYP as 01 and CTYP as X,

and in line layout I am using 19 as conversion,

it was a calculation issue, which is done by functional now.

Thanks for your immediate response, being a technical, i got to learn about PTYP and CTYP.

Hi Kasif,

For all wage type starts with / example /3f1, /3P1, /460 it should be 01 and X.

For customer wages starts with Number example 1010, 1020....Give your own as I said like 99 X.

In line layout BETRG opposite to 01 X conversion should be 40.

And BETRG opposite to 99 X should be 41.

You do as I mentioned in my first reply.

Its a normal and regular thing we will do at implementation level.

Thanks Srikrishna,

I am done with the process, functional has created the customer wage types and in linelayout i have just found the BETRG which was affecting the -ive symbole, I just used the conversion 19 for it and got the solution.

Thanks for your guidance also, will note it down.
