Hybris Convert?

Dear all,

I really need a clarification about Hybris Convert.

Commercially speaking, is it a new module, such as "Acquisition", Data Management?

Or is it only a "concept"?

Hello Cristina,

I did some research on Hybris Convert a while ago, and I can totally understand your confusion. SAP's marketing-oriented slides make it look like Hybris convert is just another module in Hybris Marketing, so just another part of the whole solution running on the same platform. However, that is not the case. It is the same with, for example, Loyalty, which is also not a module of Hybris Marketing but a standard integration between SAP Hybris Loyalty, which is a YaaS service, and Hybris Marketing.

In fact, Hybris Convert was formerly known as SeeWhy which SAP bought and re-branded. It is also an SaaS offering and also available standalone. There are also add-ons for Hybris Commerce to integrate Hybris Convert.

Hybris Convert performs web analytics which incorporates advanced logic for determining the items of most interest for each individual. It can be used as a profile data source for Hybris Marketing or create a shopping card abandoned interaction to trigger a campaign.

It definitely requires an additional license.
