SOLMAN 7.1 basis configuration??

Hi All,

I have done new installation of solman 7.1 with sp04.

what are the post installation activities need to done.

when i am running solman_workcenter tocde am getting error

The web page can't be displayed and trying to open url http://solmon:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ags_workcenter

i created new client and assigned below roles to user.

SAP_SMWORK_ADMINISTRATOR_COMP
SAP_SMWORK_BASICCONF_COMP
SAP_SMWORK_JOBMAN_COMP

Smwork_basic,

Smwork_change_man,

Smwork_incident_man,

smwork- myhome,

smwork_Service_dev.      

I have attached screen shot pls check and let me know solution.

please give me solution for this.This is very urgent...

Hi Chandra,

After installation, do the post installation activties

Please go to solman_setup and follow the below document and complete the system preparation, basic configuration and managed system setup.

So it will help to start the work in solman system.

Hi,

First, why are you staying on SP4 when there is already available SP11?

Upgrading or not, the first thing to do is to install the master note for your version, for SP4 is 1633725 - SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP4 - basic functions

can we do after configuration or first we have to upgrade ?

Hi Chandra,

Please patch the system to latest SP level, then start the system preparation, basic configuration and managed system setup.so it will save more time and complete the activities in one short.

Also every SP level having separate master note, so first complete the SP level upgrade.

can i upgrade directly with out doing any thing in the system??

can we share SUM tool version for this??

can i start directly with SUM tool??

Presently OSS1 connection is not avilable.

Pls suggest the complete process so that i can proceed.

Hi Chandra,

Is your server is in domain? Ensure that the system that you have installed solman is setup with a fully qualified hostname at the OS level.

Check your parameter SAPLOCALHOSTFULL.

Check you have maintained host entry in hots file. 1.1.1.1  Hostname     hostname.domain.com

My server is in not domain.

We don't have FQDN.

Please suggest me any solution for this.
