Open item management

Hi Experts.

For activating Open item, I transferred the balance to one GL account to buffer gl on 25^th May. Then I activated open item management on 26^th May. Later I reversed the document today but with document date as 25^th May. Now the reversed document is not coming as open item. All the items posted afterwards are coming as Open item.

It would be helpful if some has any idea why it happened? and now how can I clear the reversed document.
