HI EVERYBODY,
I HAVE CREATED A PROCESS CHAIN WITH THE FOLLOWING.
START PROCESS (PROCESS VARIANT ) SCHEDULED TO START IMMLY.
DELETE INDEX
LOAD INFOPACKAGE INTO INFOCUBE
CREATE INDEX.

COULD ANYONE TELL ME WATS THE FIRST STEP IN MY ABOVE CREATED PROCESS CHAIN.
WHEN I AM CHECKING ITS FINE BUT WHEN I ACTIVATE ITS GIVING AN ERROR THAT JOB_CANNOT_SUBMIT.
WHEN I GOT INTO DETAILS ITS SAYS ILLEGAL VALUES IN STEP ONE.
THANKS AND REGARDS
NEELKAMAL
hi neelkamal,
try to
- check infocube index, is it have green light ? infocube right click >> performance tab >> index,
if red, then create index first.
do you have any data loaded ? not sure if no data then no index then can't delete index ?
maybe can also try remove the 'delete index' and drag again from the left side and maintain variant.
- check the variant of 'delete index' ?

hi neelkamal,
last time i created a process chain with infopackage then that 2 process automatically included and have the same error, when the delete index and create index removed, the process chain started well. have no access to system now, will try to reproduce the problem and try figure out later.
hi neelkamal,
sorry i am not able to reproduce the error. i remember this error occured when the i created the 1st process chain in bw 3.5, for time being i just deleted the 2 process. just now i tried the same infopackage there is no error, further more i also tried a new infopackage with a new data target with no data exist, touch nothing to indices, still no error occur
