FileBased Datasource to Load Hierarchy

Hi, all.

In our system I encountered with problem to create Datasource with data type Hierarchy.

When I go to File Source System and try create datasource I don't see datatype hierarchy?

Can anybody help with this problem?

Hi,

creating the hier in BW 3.x is possible but BW 7.0 not possible.

but BW 7.3 is possible.

you want create the HIER BW 7.x enter the tcode - RSA1OLD then create the custom hier.

please look at the doc.

Hi,

first you need to create hierarchy at your info object level.

RSA1--> info object--> find your info object and select with hierarchy option at hierarchy tab.

Later maintain external characters and maintain hierarchy structure.

Later you can try to create flat file hierarchy you may see that option.
