If a user logged onto a webservice in the ITS and leaves it inactive for a while, will SAP log them out after the usual period? If so, will the ITS give a message or just keep trying to connect to SAP?
Gill
Hi Gill,
if you use the external ITS 6.20 the parameter ~timeout sets the time span of inactivity after that ITS deletes a running session. When ITS receives a new request for a delete session a error message is shown. The profile parameter rdisp/gui_auto_logout is the equivalent for the application server. Note 889066 describes details how these parameter should be used.
Best regards,
Klaus
