Hi Team

I am not able to perform ME2L transaction for not more than 10000 vendors which is resulting an immediate dump. Could you please confirm whether its a common issue in all systems?

Hi,

Do refer the below KBA and OSS Note which explains the real situation why the dump occurs and solution for the same.

KBA: 1977886 - Runtime Errors SAPSQL_PARSE_ERROR exception CX_SY_DYNAMIC_OSQL_SYNTAX when executing ME56/...

1697280 - CONVT_OVERFLOW dump in list display ME2L and ME3M

Hi all ;

Can you contact with a abaper and basis consultant with your short dump analyses which is given by Sir Jürgen L ?

I hope that problem is related with your system parameters.

Regards.

I can confirm it is not a common issue in all systems. Does this answer help you in any direction?

I would never consider a dump as a common issue.

But without providing any info from the dump itself (please read the dump, don't just copy it to SCN)

it is a coffee ground reading.

I could assume it is a time-out issue when the program is not ready to give you a result within the given time settings, in that case you could run the report in background or have the time limit extended from your basis team

As you are saying it comes immediately I could imagine that you upload 10000 vendor number into the multiple selection, and this is common in most systems that the memory for multiple selections is limited

Please read about, it gives you an impression where to look
