User data Modification not propagated to JAVA systems

Hi guys,

I am new to IDM and I implemented a straightforward solution where the data will come from an ERP system then through to VDS by running the LDAP_EXTRACT job. The VDS is connected to the staging IDS. Then there is a WriteToIDS job to commit the data to the Master IDS. Version is 7.2 SP8

The provisioning of new users work perfectly to my three repositories (1 ABAP and 2 JAVA systems). However, with modifications in the user data, the changes are only reflected in the ABAP system. In the job log, I can see the provisioning tasks being called for my ABAP system but not for the JAVA systems. I did not do anything special in the ABAP repository. This is also happening when the password is reset.

I have added the PRIV:<SID>:ONLY privilege in the business roles. Anything that I have missed? Appreciate your help. Thanks.

Regards,

Sheryl

If you go to MMC and open the system privilege for AS Java in the metadata subtree what attributes are specified to trigger the modify-workflow? While you have the system privilege open, make sure that "none" is not set for the modify-task of the system privilege.

Is the modify-workflow specified for the AS Java repository?

Hi Tero,

Thank you for the prompt response. Only MXREF_MX_GROUP is ticked as the trigger. Please see attached. Should I modify this and add the same attributes that are set in the abap system?

Thanks

If same attributes are relevant for both ABAPs and Java then same boxes should be ticked.
