Hello,

this issue was resolved by Development in SAP Lumira 1.18 and the fix can be found in SAP Lumira 1.18 and later.

I have updated "2030032 - Publishing Dataset to Lumira Server gives "dataset cannot
be published to Server"
" accordingly.

Thank you

Zenith -

I had a measure using distinct count.  I changed it to count (all) and it published.

Thanks,

Hello Zenith,

a colleague at SAP had the same issue with a Dataset and it has been sent to Development. They are working on the issue for a release after 1.17.

The only workaround I have found so far is to go to the Share room and "Export as File" the Dataset. From there you can start with a new document, acquire the data and recreate the visualizations and stories. Not pretty but it seems to work.

Keep an eye on the following KBA and I will come back to this thread when there is a solution.

Matthew - please see what James said above

"a colleague at SAP had the same issue with a Dataset and it has been sent to Development. They are working on the issue for a release after 1.17."

So the issue is being worked on after the 1.17 release

The publishing file size limit from desktop to cloud is 200MB

Thanks Tammy/Christina.  I misread and thought the fix was "for 1.17".  I did find a work around.  I'm trying to demo the wonderful new InfoGraph functionality.  I had a measure using distinct count.  I changed it to count (all) and it published

Hi James,

Any news regarding this note? I have been working with 1.20 Desktop and 1.18 Lumira Server and the issue still exists.

Thanks for the update!

Hi,

what version (build) do you have installed on your desktop?

what are the characteristics of thedataset that you are trying to share?  (# rows, # columns, datasource type)

Are you able to delete the old version from the cloud, then republish the datasource (alone) as a new artifact?   now followed by the Story?

H

Hi Henry,

I have the latest version 1.15 on my desktop.

Data set has 36k rows & 25 col.

It is from HANA(Analytical View).

I am trying to create a new one on cloud. I tried with other ANV & CAV everything is working except this particular data set.
