ERROR -Communication error with the external tax system (VERTEX_MS0018)
In SPRO Cross application components ,i could not find the tax settings to activate , wat should i do to clear the above mentioned error ...

Get in touch with your Basis Team and ensure that the connection is properly setup between Vertex and your system.

Check with your basis team that the interface to the 3rd party vertex system is up and running.
You may be trying to set up a vendor with an address outside of US / Canada. Vertex is used only for US/Canada jurisdiction codes.
