Problem with BW extractor and UPL in SCOPE and EFFORT ANALYZER

Hello,

i try to implement SCOPE AND EFFORT ANALYZER in solution manager

in Specify Additional Systems I have Data Source Check Faild

I have the  2 problem :

• Activate Extractor 'E2E_ICIDB_EXT_CME' of Cube '0SM_CCLG' for system
• No Usage and Procedure Logging (UPL) data available for system

Can someone help me?

Hi Antonietta,

you need to:

1) Create the RFC for the satellite systems

2) Create the EWA of the Satellte system in Solman

3) Activate CCLM (Solman Setup--> Custom Code Management -> Steps 1 to 6 for each system.

and then start to check the Scope and Effort

Hello Wences,

Do ypu have some documentation for activate Custom Code Management or entyre SCOPE AND EFFORT ANALYZER ?

I have found just marketing paper.

Anyway in the step numer 2 of  Custom Code Management i can't see any SID , can you help me, please?

very usefull guide, but i have a problem , in the CCLM , in overview, I can't see "system" .

I have the same problem even after completing steps 1-6 from Custom Code Management in SOLMAN_SETUP:

Both extractors seem to be working fine:

Is there something I need to maintain manually on the managed system?

Hi Carl

How many solman you have connected to the system? , this functionality dont work if you want to use more than 1.

You can check with the transaction RSRT if the query 0SM_CCLG/0SM_CCLG_EXTDAT have values.

     2. 0SM_CCLG/0SM_CCLG_EXTDAT contains data:

Hi Karl,

If you click on the System option of the RSRT, you found your satellite system_?

What about the SEA? you already run the process? Workcenter -->Test Managment --> Scope and Effort--> Create new project

Hi Wences,

Yes - the satellite system is shown as a filter.

For SEA - the new analysis is created and am now in Step 2 (Specify Additional Systems) but cannot proceed due to the Extractors or BW settings not working for the satellite system as shown above.

Those are the last 2 mandatory red flags under the "Specifiy system to read custom developments and modifications" section of the SEA analysis

SEA managed to proceed with the system checks after we upgraded to SP12. My problem above has been resolved. Thanks for all the help!
