target binary filename customizing ?

Dear Expert !!

for moving binary file in using ftp file adapter,,  i have been using Only ICO without ESR.

but i have to make file name customized.

example )

    sender file  :  aaa.ppt

    receiver file :  aaa_[date]_[time]_.ppt 

                        aaa_20140401_031030_.ppt

is it possible without using ESR or Run Operating System Command After Message Processing  ?

my pi is 7.31 single java.

Hi David,

Yes, it is possible to do without ESR. Aside from the Run OS command, you can create an adapter module for your requirement.

Hi David,

AS you don't using ESR object so it is difficult to require file name with time stamp with dynamic configuration.

but you can go for RUN OS command and use the rename command after message processing and try to achieve this using OS command.

if you want to go for dynamic configuration then check blow blog that may help you.
