CA Willy EM status offline

Hi Friends,

I am unable to see the root cause analysis data for Java System. While I am checking for the possible reasons I observer Willy EM is in offline.

Even after EM start EMCtrl.sh still it is showing offline.

in details I can see: Cannot retrieved status.

when I checked at the IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log I cant not find any reason.

Could any one kindly suggest how to resolve this to proceed further checks.

Hi Chowdary,

Which is the SAP Solution Manager version ?

If you have installed latest Wily EM 9.1.5.0 and you have Solution Manager 7.1 SP08 or lower, please check below SAP Note:

1900777 - Basic Configuration - Enterprise Manager shows error 'Cannot Retrieved Status'

As i checked


1900777 - Basic Configuration - Enterprise Manager shows error 'Cannot Retrieved Status'


We already have the below path level and respective path of ABAP stack, it seems be we met the prerequisites.


LM-SERVICE 7.10 SP8 (1000.7.10.8.0.20130129161000)

But still error is coming.

Hi Chowdary,

As per the SAP Note I have provided above, please apply the patch 2 for LM-SERVICE 7.10 SP08

Please check the below SAP note for steps on how to apply the patch :

1483508 - Solution Manager 7.1: Root Cause Analysis pre-requisites

You need to have patch level 2 installed for LM-SERVICE component.

Kindly paste the logs for IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log

and also paste the output for the command

./EMCtrl status
