Hi gurus,

I need in ECC obtain a lot of images from an FTP repository using PI,the file names are ID that are in the ECC,files can be updated, and should be sent to ECC.

What is the best way to do this?

The best idea so far is to get all the files(once a month) with the checks "FileName" and "Source File Timestamp" ( from "ASMA" )  and in the mapping get these fields to send by "RFC LOOKUP"  to check if must be processed and if it is the latest version of file, if all is ok sent by proxy to ECC.

Hi,

your idea is good, i would suggest small modification in your approach. get the file name from source FPT and set into one target field. Then target proxy (in ECC) will determine if file needs to update/process. In this way you can avoid the RFC lookup.

Thanks for the reply, I think it's best to check using a "RFC LOOKUP" because I reduce the load on the ECC (they are 2000 files in the ftp, and are large files).
