portal user connection to backend system

portal user connection to backend system

Just loaded business pack for assets to EP60

User connection to the backend system have to include system administrator role. Can not get it to work for general user. Have tried a range of permission configuration.

Anyone?

    right click on your back-end system object, select permissions option. There you can find the assigned permissions.

    If you have "Everyone" Built in Group, select the check box for end user.

    If you dont have that, search for your User and assign the permissions. (End User)

    Hi Hans

    i have a same proble in buisness package for cprojects.

    this buisness package are made for administration only

    since u use it with administrator than it's work ok but for normal user it's not work perfect.

    so u can creaqte a new iview by copying existing content

    and create a corresponding page and workset by copying

    and create ur own role and assign the worksets to role same as the default role
