deletion of revision level and change number -BOM

Dear Team,

I have created change number fro BOM using CC01 transaction and assigned this number to Revision level using CC11 Transaction . After this a

revision level 2 is created since 1 is already exists . now i want to delete this revision level 2. since by mistakenly i have created Revision level 2 which is not required

i.e.

revision level to be deleted which has been already assigned to a change number.

I have tried this by using CC02 - Change master - Delete.but system

throwing message CC225 YOU CANNOT DELETE (CHANGES TO MATERIALS EXISTS)

and  Message CC007 - BOM changes exist for change no. & - it cannot be deleted

Please suggest a solution

Hi,

You can delete Change number. Check CC02 - Change master - Delete.

But if you have made any BOM change using that change master then system will not allow you to delete it.

Still if you want to delete the change master, then as suggested by expert Umesh, undo the BOM changes (CCUNDO) and then delete.

Also try with transaction CC12.

Dear All,

It is not allowing to delete the change number even i did the following things

1. CCUNDO- undo the changes against change number to be deleted

2. CC02-Change master - Delete

but system

throwing message CC225 YOU CANNOT DELETE (CHANGES TO MATERIALS EXISTS)

So temporally  to avoid the usage of  this revision level for MRP , i have decided  to do the following 3 settings in CCO2 against this change number 1)valid from date to future date(highest date)  2) set deletion flag 3) change no.status is 2 -inactive

SO System will not allow to change BOM changes through this change no  and will plan for MRP when valid from date falls below my PIR date.

pls suggest
