job processing has temporarily stopped SNMP message

I am using BCXOM protocol for my print devices on the SAP ECC EHP6 machine. NW 731.

I get the "job processing has temporarily stopped SNMP message" after the print. Though earlier, I only used to get "Compl." message. (See image attached)

I understand may be the RSPOSNMPSPO_KRN program is causing this. But, deactivating the program didnt helped. Why this message is occuring? How may I stop or deactivate SNMP for job status?

Hello Shashank,

I see you have create a SAP support incident for this issue.

please try my suggest there:

goto SPAD, open the used output device in change mode, eighter unselect the query status by

'Do not query host spooler or printer for print request'

or click on SNMP button, leave the filed 'IP Addr./Host Name' empty will help to aviod the error message.

The function job status feedback using SNMP is talked in note 1134251.

Best Regards,

Hi Shashank,

that is hard to fix without getting deeper in the system. Did you already contact your Basis-guys and ask them for analyzing the print-process?

Here's a link how to it, in case you do not know:

Analyzing Delayed Processing of Output Requests - BC - SAP Printing Guide - SAP Library

My suggestion: The print-server doesn't reply the fullfilled output in a correct way.

Thanks a lot Florian.

Unfortunately, I am the basis guy and trying to understand the entire print process.

I'll go through the link, thank you very much.

I think its something to do with the new kernel 7.31.

It was not the same withe the kernel for ECC 6.0. As said in Note 1134251.
