What is the difference between tables COEJ and COSP?

I would like to understand the difference between tables COEJ and COSP as far as business transaction RKP1 goes. I am building a custom planned cost comparison report . The details are needed by cost element , plan version and WBS element with some additional client specific custom fields. I used table COEJ to pull the business transactions RKP1 by Cost Element and WBS element. The planned Cost Totals for most projects are adding up but I noticed that for some projects , the totals are not adding up. These projects have planned Cost (Business transaction RKP1) available in table COSP only and not in table COEJ.  Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Alex

Hi

COEP is to capture planned values of CO objects by period. COEJ is to capture actual values of CO objects year wise.
