Dear MM guys,
Any method to find out which IP address a material doc been processed?
Even via any audit transaction.
Our scenario is 3 persons share a sap user account but not per work shift, we would like to find out who executed a corresponding GR material doc.
Thanks in advance.
Dear Hanyuan,
User ID with Time is the only thing which you get it from basis, as far as IP address is concern it is impossible for the system to fetch IP address.

Hi,
This issue can be solved like this . While posting the MIGO in any of the reference fields of header or texts fields let them maintain their name or any other code so that this can be easily identified through tables like mseg or any other . also sap stores the time of entry so that through that you can identify .

You cant get and store in your transaction level.
Anyhow you can get from the details from STAD report(Which will have last 48 hours data) which will give you more details.

I wonder that your auditors allow to share the same user ID among several users, this is a security risk and probably violates the agreement you have with SAP too

From MB51, narrow down the disputed material docs and the user ID+time created.
Now use this information in SM21, this will give you the logon terminals of the user in question. I don't think you can get an IP address though.

Sap will never keep the ip address for a posted document. It only keeps the user id.
Sap can show the ip address for running session from t-code SM04.
But there are no way to find system ip for a posted document.
