Link ID in UJD_Test_Package_Link

Hello Friends.

I was not able to see this post, re-posting

Env - BPC 10.0

I am trying to fill up the field "Link ID" (technical id) in the variable screen to run program UJD_test_manager_package_link.

According to this discussion, it can be found from table "UJD_LINK_LOG"

https://scn.sap.com/thread/3471453

1974609 - BPC NW: DataManagerRunPackageLink parameters

But in the program UJD_test_manager_package_link, it refers to the field "Link ID" in table "UJD_PACKAGE_LINK".

If I compare the ID that I get from UJD_LINK_LOG, its not the "Link ID" but "Service Link ID" field of UJD_PACKAGE_LINK.

And if I input the value from "UJD_Link_log" I get package link not found error.

Should we use both the tables to get the actual technical ID.

Thanks

Ed

    Ed,

Not sure if you resolved this yet or not... But the table to get the link_id from is UJD_LINK.

The program is UJD_TEST_PACKAGE_LINK in SAP BW.

You can select the link_id as approriate from drop down and then it will automatically fill APPSET ID & Appl ID and then all you need is your User ID to run it...

    Good Luck 😉

      Ed,

Donno what you are using it for... I am using it to be able to run the BPC Package Links directly from BW...

For that purpose, the UJD_LINK table has a field 'CONTENT' that contains Package Link Name as created in BPC.

So all I have to do to get the right Link_ID from the table is to search the table with a *(package link name)* in the content field and voila, I get the unique link id to use...

      Hope that helps...

      Thanks
