Absence Input query 2001

Hi Experts,

i have a peculiar query while inputting absence in IT2001, please let me know whether is it possible or not?

currently if we are applying half day holiday mentioning the time 09:00 to 12:00 its working quota deducts as 0.5, which is correct, But customer came up with peculiar question stating that if employee takes 2.5 days of leave. how possibly he can enter that as a single entry in It2001

For example. employee leave applying from 10.05.2014 to 12.05.2014, but on 12.05.2014 he is applying only for half day. so client expecting he must input date like 10.05.2014 9.00 am to 12.05.2014 13:00 PM, and system should consider as 2.5 not 3, but system still taking three. is it possible to have like this??
