Changing professional license to limited professional license

Hi All,

Our client is currently having all SAP professional licenses . Now, they want to revise it with limited professional license for some of the users as these users are only using 1 create/change t-code and reports.

Example: a purchasing manager is only authorized for releasing/dereleasing the PO and reports execution.So, firstly can we change this purchasing manager license which is professional to limited professional

If we can change then can we assign z-t codes and z reports to the User id (limited professional)

Kindly suggest.

Hi Saurabh,

You may assign any role or tcodes which is not breaching any SOD requirements within your firm.

But before you change the license data in SAP, make sure it is inline with SAP EULA document( End User License Agreement) to avoid any penalities from SAP
