Pay Scale Group and PS Level

Hi everyone,

We use Pay Scale Group and PS Level in our company (values are defaulted in IT0008); Sometimes we need to add new pay scale groups and levels, that is done in customizing client and transported to productive system using transport requests.

Is there any other way to give permission to users to create new pay scale groups and levels directly in produqctive system?

Hello

In general practice it is not recommended to directly create PS grp and level in production as it needs a lot of testing.It may create problem in production.

Try to follow the transport process.

We actually created some custom Z transactions that allow the business to enter certain table entries directly in production (UW codes, institutions) but like others have said, allowing them the ability to add PS group or level would not be best business practice.

Good decision as that is best business practice.

The recommended practice is to always create customizing in customizing client and transport to productive system using transport requests.

Even users are quite advanced, it is not recommended to open up Production System for carrying out customizing changes.
