Invalid user id or password problem



We have a user who worked with BPC without a problem until that is the IT dept changed his AD account - the domain remained the same however the user id was changed to reflect new naming convention. The old AD account was removed. In BPC the old account was deleted and the new one created however ever since the change the user has been unable to access BPC - the error message returned is 'The user id and password cannot be authenticated. Go back and make sure you enter valid credentials'

The data in the user table is correct and no different to other users in the same location and with same type of access who do not have login problems.

Has anyone seen anything like this before and can advise?
