Combo box no data

Hie Guys,

I have a query in QAAWS that produces the sample output before publishing. I have published the query and used it as a data connection in Dashboards 4.1 (Development Client Tool). There are 5 objects from the query which I have mapped to 5 empty columns in the Excel Spreadsheet in Dashboards 4.1.

Now, I have a combo box inside the dashboard. For the labels (Properties), I have selected the first column from the Excel Spreadsheet. However, when I preview the dashboard, I am not getting any data in the combo box selector. Could anyone tell me why this could be happening and how to resolve the issue? Thanks.

Hi Jeewan,

Universe is designed on top of Bex query or relational source for which you are not getting the values?

If that universe is designed on Bex query and there are mandatory prompts defined for that reports in Bex try to remove that and give a try hope it will work.

The option is checked, but I am still unable to get the data labels in the combo box. When I pulled another QAAWS from a different Universe and used it in the combo box, I am getting the data labels. Any idea why this could be happening?

Check whether the field has data in the source ?

Are you able to see the data in preview tab at QAAWS level..?

The combo box list showed the data in Test Server. However, there is some data in the Universe in the DEV Server for that object. Now sure why it did not show any data in the combo box. Anyways, thanks for the input.

Can you show me the output of the data from qaaws, and how did you map the data to the combo box, screenshot please ?
