Hi gurus,

Today our BW production server overheated and turned off it self. After turning on server all process chains started. Is it possible to prevent all process chains from starting after server restart?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

i think there no such option to stop all at chains at a time.

Take colleagues/basis team help and stop all background jobs at SM37.

or From RSPC,  Select all your chains and From menu EXecution-->remove form the schedule. Lets try it.

Thanks

Hello,

Correct, it is not possible to stop all the process chains in one shot.

But yes, you can proceed as follows:

Go to Tcode-RSPC---select the process chain----right click on start process---display variant and

bring the same to change mode---change the variant selections---untick the 'job running perodically'--

fianlly save and activate.

Thanks for all answers. We already know how to stop process chains but we hoped that such option exists.

Hi Sarunas,

You can use programme : BTCTRNS1 to suspend all jobs. Caution: It will also stops important jobs too..  Later you can work  accordingly and  release the jobs using the program:BTCTRNS2 to release the jobs .

Hope this helps.

If we are using the above program we will get

BTCTRNS1

Transport: Move Jobs with Status "Rescheduled due to Upgrade"

Jobs were suspended for upgrade

BTCTRNS2

Transport: Release jobs with status "Descheduled due to upgrade"

Jobs suspended due to upgrade were rescheduled

Thats True. All jobs will be  on hold when you run the first one and  will released  after   second  program.
