using bi platform 4.1 we have a crystal report that we are scheduling to write an excell file to disk. it is going to run in the morning for records from the previous day. the recipients want the filename to reflect the fact that the data in the sheet is from the previous day. the default place holders only show the current datetime though. Is there a way to add the date range for the report to the file name?
i know you can create a publication and use the name of any fields linked between two reports but is there a way to do it without creating a publication.
Hi Flaher,
The placeholder value is retrieved from Infostore, not locale variables. Therefore, these values cannot be changed without writing custom code
Thanks,
Sneha
