Upload Problem

Hi All,

I am uploading a file using GUI_UPLOAD that has been output through an SDOS program. The problem is that SAP is not able to recognise characters whose Ascii value goes beyond 128. The same file can easily be read in MS-Excel and when saved as a tab-limited text file through Excel, there is no problem in uploading the file into SAP. I am guessing the problem lies with the character sets.

One possible solution could be to upload the file and then convert each character into Unicode, but I am not sure how to do that. Can anyone help?
