SAP GUI - expand tree icons missing in Product Structure?

Can someone please help point me to where the user settings are, that change the GUI interface controls shown in these pictures?

Used cv04n to find a document, then selected Product structure

Get this screen view.

Should look and behave as shown below:

Same results with windows GUI 720 and 730.

Tried my SAP logon on an other users PC, and just get the dot also.

With her SAP logon the screen displayed correctly.

Win7 x64 Enterprise

Solution found by another admin.

Enter /ncc04 (product structure browser screen displays)

Press F7 (settings screen displays)

UN-CHECK box next to "Depdenc. in context menu"

Accept changes

Exit and restart SAP (may not be necessary).

Hi Mark,

This sounds like an authorization issue to me, not a SAPGUI issue.  As evidence, you say you get the same result no matter whether you logon with a 7.20 or 7.30 GUI, on multiple machines, but another user gets the correct result on the same machine where you do not.  Ergo, it's related to your logon ID, not the SAPGUI.

In which case, you should probably re-ask this question in a different forum, but meanwhile, try running /nSU53 immediately after you get the incorrect result and see if there's anything listed as a failed authorization.  Then talk to your authorizations or user administrator.

Agree the GUI difference is related to my logon.

So far local admin's have not been able to determine what to change ???

In that case, I would look to see if there is a difference in the User Parameters set in SU01 between your user and the other user.  You may still want to move this discussion to a different forum, such as .  You will there find people knowledgeable about this actual transaction and how it can be modified.
