BODS Usage

Hi BODS Guru,

I have urgent requirement client asking what is the best practice for using SAP BODS and LSMW. Which one is the best choose.

Can you pls send me the any ppt or documents, because I need to convince to customers.

Hi Vijay,     The problem is that are 2 different tools, maybe the end is the same, but Data Services allows you to modify, filter and work with the data and source/target systems, but LSMW no, it's only for load data, so, maybe in order to compare similar jobs in SAP should be SAP PI and SAP DS.... Regards.

Hi Vijay,

Nowadays for  SAP data migration, We are using both ( SAP BODS and LSMW ) and  I would suggest go for both.
