Email generation issue

Hello Friends,

I got an issue in the production environment. In the transaction IW52 ( Change Service Notification), whenever a task is created, an email will be triggered and issued to the person responsible for the task. But, for some users the email is sent multiple times which is not desired. What could be the reason behind this? Please help. I cannot replicate in Quality server.
