Crystal Reports - Blanket Agreement

Hello.

I was asked to make some changes on an native SAP's Crystal Report, and I've found some issues.

The Blanket Agreement report were made based on a XML file, and I can't find how  to generate this XML file to make the changes on the report.

Anyone here knows how to do that?

HI,

are you looking for the export to XML function Which is a native function in Crystal Reports? from the File menu, you'll find it.

The XML-based layouts should be converted from PLD.

No, I'm looking for how to export the XML from SAP Business One.

Because this report was createad to look one XML that is temporally creted by SAP.

When I try to edit this report, it complains that the XML doesn't exists on the selected path.

As I said, I suspect this layout of yours is converted from PLD by SAP, so it's XML-based.

Ok, I was searching and I found an connection on the report called PLD_...

But, how can I setup this connection to make changes on the report?

Well, unfortunately, according to this thread , t's not possible to edit a PLD-converted-crystal report.

Hi,

Go to Report Layout manager and select the required layout/report.

You can Edit there.

You have to save it in NEW NAME.

Thus you can make changes..

It's an CrystalReports report, that was an PLD, it was converted by SAP.

So I can't simple "edit" this, because it's based on a XML.

You didn't understood my question.

I already know how to edit, save, etc... I've made some reports, edited some native SAP reports, and many things.

But all the reports that I've edited were based on an SQL connection to get the date. This one uses an XML archive that doesn't exists (SAP generates it when we run the report), so I can't make the changes.

I need to know how to generate one of those XMLs to make the changes.
