How to hide/remove the rows in Tab2 based on Tab1

Hello Experts,

I have requirement in webi report and it has 2 tabs. There have report filters also YEAR(YYYY) and MONTH(MMM YYYY).

Based on the filters the report shows different number of records. Both tabs have the same filters but from different queries(Bex and Universe).

Suppose I have two records in Tab1 and five records in Tab2.

Based on the attached images, the columns H1 and H2 have same data(H1+H2) in both tabs then, need to hide/remove those rows from Tab2.

Please update any possibilities...

Thanking in advance..

Regards,

LKumar

    Hi,

Please try adding filters on H1 and H2 in second data provider and refer H1 and H2 values from first Data provider with Not InList operator.

Just a thought, not sure whether it works in this particular scenario.

    Thanks,

    Bala

    Hi Kumar,

    Try this:

    • Create a variable v_DP = DataProvider (H1) (here H1 refers to H1 in Tab1)
    • Create a variable v_Hide
    • Then create variable with the below formula

If DataProvider (H1) = Datasource of Tab1 then

    If IsNull(H1) then v_Hide = "hide".

    Now go to Tab2.

There go to H1 and click on Hide when and enter the condition v_Hide = "hide".

    Do the same for H2.
