Only a single active version is allowed

Dear DMS Experts,

While trying to create a new version of a DIR, I am getting the error " Only a single working version allowed" and not able to create a new version.

In DC10, the Version assignment checkbox is ticked, and also the version number increment is given as 1. But still I am unable to create a new version.

Is there any other configuration required?

Hi Aravind,

I think this is related to custom exit created at your end.

Check with your developer.

Dear Chandu,

Thanks for the quick response. I have made the DC10 changes as you have mentioned. However it is still not allowing me to create any new versions. But, I noticed that it basically depends on the status I have given. When the status is 'IW', I am not able to create any versions. When the status is released or cancelled, I can create new versions for that DIR.

I have attached the screenshots. Kindly give a solution.
