Field Changes not captured in processing log in service request

Hi Experts,

I have activated the processing log for service request in CRM, but I am only able to see the changes done to status,notes,attachments. As the field level changes are not shown in processing log in web ui, but the same is visible in the GUI in change log. Is there any specific setting which I need to do capture the field level changes? Please let me know on the same

there is an old KBA created by me

2248082 - Customer fields created from AET don't generate change documents

It was created for CRM but the main idea is still valid for S/4HANA

Hello,

What is the exact configuration in SAP S4 HANA Service when we would like to see all changes done in a service request, a service order for example ?

I know we have to go under Service/Transactions/Settings for service requests/ Settings for processing log and then ? What are the next steps please , What do we have to configure ?

Hi,

Check the table CDPOS  having any entries after you have changed the  Zfield. The same entry will be available  in the change history in both UI and GUI

Check the report-RSSCD200, This will provide all the change log details. The record which is available in report log will be available in UI and GUI

Hi Navin,

Please navigate to the following SPRO path and update the customizing the field that you display in the processing log.


SPRO->Customer Relationship Management-> Transactions -> Settings for Service Requests -> Settings for Processing Log -> Define Change History for Processing Log.

Hello,

The 'Define Change History for Processing Log' allows to display the standard fields but, in our project, we have created specific fields in the CRMD_ORDERADM_H. How to allows the log of these fields and display them in the processing log?
