x*1+0 in BEX queries

Hello, guys!

I'm working with BEX Qury designed by another developer who is not available now. He has several calculated key figures with formula like: (x)*1+0 or NODIM(x)*1+0 and that's all. Do you have any ideas why he used that kind of a formula?

Thank you in advance,

Nikita.

    Hi,

Formula (x * y + z) is a condition. You use it in the way: ( condition * value if yes + value if not ).

NODIM as far as I know cuts information about currency from values.

    Hope it helps,

    Leszek

    Hi,

it is hardcoded value for the formula definition.

(x)*1+0 or NODIM(x)*1+0 - first multiplying the x value and adding the 1+0.

NODIM - it will remove the currencies form the values.

    Thanks,

    Phani.
