Accessing a link on the the portal logon pageb without logging in

Hi

I have an application, which is to be accessed from the portal logon page. But whenever i click on the link, it asks for user id and password. I dont want that because that page could be accessed by anybody, even the non-registered users.

Can anybody please tell how to go about it?
