Hi We are installing a new windows server 2012 R2 system on a MS SQL We are stuck on the install. As we are doing a domain install we need
Is there any way we could use a different account than sapadm for the This account has to be a domain account and not a local account. Thanks |
Hi Matthew,
Usually the sapadm account for SAPHOSTAGENT is configured as a local user and not a domain user, so that would avoid your domain security restrictions. The <sid>adm account and SAPService<SID> accounts usually do need to be domain accounts, but not sapadm.
The installer by default, when you get to the part for SAPHOSTAGENT, should suggest sapadm as a local user.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Matt
