Custom UI issue in MDG material

Hi Guys,

Once user is going to create a material system calls the method Query of CL_MDG_BS_MAT_ACCESS class and it is a Custom UI, but once we are going to create a material with using standard UI system does not call this method at all.

Actually we do have two business segments, and that is why using two types of UI s . For Custom UI we are facing some performance issue. Like it is opening up slower than standard UI.

Please put some ideas and advice.

Hi Jen,

As far as I know query method is called when there is a MDG ECC table read required. For an example search,change. During creation it is not required to be called. For me both custom and standard create cr type are not calling this method. Check what it is trying to read in your case.

About performance, Remove unused uibb's and keep uibb's collapsed also open CR in read only mode instead of edit mode...
