Logon user id in chinese

Hi Friends,

Its ECC6.0 Unicode system, Is it possible to have logon language as EN and user id in Chinese Character.

Clients requirement is to logon with their chinese name.

So how is it possible to create their user ids in chinese characters in SU01 because the logon language we user is EN.

Your suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi Aayush,

Can you try login with Chinese langauge For eg ZF. Hopefully all the Texts should be in Chinese langauge.

Thanks for your prompt reply, What you saying is right and it works normally for us.

But client requirement is slightly different, or rather confusing. They want user ids to appear in Chinese Characters, how will that be possible.

So when they create reports, the report creator name should appear in chinese character at the bottom of every report.

Now in SU01 I know there is no such way we can create user ids in Chinese Chaaracters.

In First name and Last Name in SU01 we cant maintain user ids in chinese characters.

If login with Chinese language does not help to meet the requirement then I would suggest to raise an OSS message.

Hi Deepak,

I think this is not an issue for which I should create OSS. This is more from the consulting perspective.

However I would try OSS and see whats the respoce I get from them. Whether they say this requirement is actually possible in SAP or not.
