Global layout for ALV in Web Dynpro abap

Dear All,

For ALV in Web Dynpro abap. we can save user specific views (Column sequence and sorting) by following the path Settings->display->save as (Check the box 'Initial View'). After this whenever the application is executed by the user, his saved view will apply. Like wise is there any way to save a global view, or to apply a particular view created by an user to all the users by default ?

Hi,

Run the WDA application in Administrator mode and then Save the layout (Save As.. ) which will be applicable for all users globally. You can also assign a Transport Request and move to subsequent systems.

Hi,

Thank you for the update. I had a look at those suggested links. If i were to have only one global layout then this option works fine, but i am looking for a way to provide layout name as a parameter on the initial screen. Have at least 4 global layouts saved witih different names and when user gives any one layout name in the initial screen, that layout should apply.
