Hello

2EETP345 13:28:35: Retcode 1: SQL-error "2705-Column names in each table must be unique. Column nam

2EETP345 e 'TARGET_CLIENT' in table 'CTS_IMP_Q_STATE' is specified more than once." in DDL statemen

2EETP345 t for "CTS_IMP_Q_STATE               "

Connect to the SAP system and perform a check on the table CTS_IMP_Q_STATE using Tx SE14.

Try "Activate and adjust the database" table with the "Save data" option.

Repeat the phase.

Hi RB,

We can't login to our GUI. The instance in SAPMMC is alredy in green but we still can't logon. How could we fix this? and the original instance was changed to instance 01 and 03.

Please see screenshot below:

Hi RB,

We also can't reset the update from SUM and we can't go back a step. It says that reset is not applicable on this phase. What should we do?

Thank you!

Hi Almira,

You can't reset the upgrade in downtime phase.

Check the below telnet command

1. telnet 172.16.2.16 3201

2. telnet 172.16.2.16 3601

paste the dev_disp log file

Paste the output.

What is the system number for the ABAP stack ?

I see you are trying to connect to the system with number 01 which appears to be a Java stack.

If you are unable to login to the system then provide the latest dev_w0 trace file from the work directory.

Hi RB,

What I did now is restore the whole SUM folder before then started SUM GUI again and I have already an option to step back one phase. But we came across an error again on -- phase REV_DTTRANS/STARTSAP_DTTRANS were negative!

Please see screenshot on how we can resolve this asap.

Thank you!

This issue usually comes when you already applied changes for CTS_IMP_Q_STATE. now the upgrade is trying to add the same value. delete the old entry with the help of an abaper and then continue with the import.

Hi Krishna,

Should I delete the old entry, thru SAP GUI? How would I do that if I can't start the instance after closing SUM and stopping the update? Should i reset the update from the beginning?

Thank you!

Do it from SAP GUI with the help of an abaper. you think in this way.

1. before upgrading, may you have applied note corrections and it has created one entry. now upgrade is trying to create the same entry which is leading to error.

I hope this helps.

Hi Krishna,

We have started the instance in SAPMMC but it is now with a different instance. it became 01 and 03. I think it is the shadow instance? But I can't logon. Please see screenshot below:

Thank you!

Hi Almira,

You need to perform the below steps

1. Check the table CTS_IMP_Q_STATE , whether it is activated or not.

2. If it is activated , then try to upgrade the R3tarns and tp to latest level

3. If the second point does not work then , check the duplicate entries in the table CTS_IMP_Q_STATE.

Remove the entries and retry the steps.

You can also retry the steps after removing the entry CTS_IMP_Q_STATE from DDXTT table.

But i have no idea , about the table CTS_IMP_Q_STATE

Though it is temporary storage table and delivered empty by SAP.

Hi Ashutosh,

I have checked the table in SQL but I can't check it on SAP GUI since it can't be started even if I stopped the update of SUM. I can't logon.

Please see screenshot for the SL query that was run to check the table.

Hi Ashutosh,

We can't login to SAP GUI. We can't start the instance itself in SAPMMC after we stop the update of SUM and close the window.

Please see screenshot.
