Vijaya,

Flow;

1.) OS (Win 3k)

2.) Grant Local Security Policies/User Rights Assignment to Admin(or installation user) on

-Act as part of the Operating system

-Replace a process level token

-Adjust memory quotas for a process

3.) Set JAVA_HOME on environment settings.

4.) You can run Analyzer (pre-install) to check pre-requisites (standalone). Not required.

5.) Install WAS ABAP

6.) Install WAS J2EE Add-in

7.) Install Netweaver components (EP, etc.)

8.) Patch WAS to latest patch (SP13 or SP14)

9.) Patch Netweaver components (EP, etc.)

More details are available on Master Guide/WAS ABAP+J2EE Add-in Guides on Service Marketplace.

you should use JDK

J2sdk-1_4_2_08

Vijaya,

Sure. In between 5.) and step 6.) you should login R/3 and create users/clients. It is in the install guide.

Hi Vijaya, hi Raja,

in general one should use the latest JDK "_"-version. There are mainly bug fixes contained within the JVM.

Additionally, we have several installations running on 1.4.2_09, including the one in front of me...

I would advise 1.4.2_10 in the meantime.

About SQLServer: Patch 4 has been published now for some months and is officially supported by SAP. Also this is running in front of me

Hope it helps
