Maximum use of Alerter

Hi Team,

Need your expert  advise.

Query: Request is like use “Alerter”  on single column (Column name) “Project Manager Name” for better visual impact and in this column total 40                         “Project Manager Name”.All the name should be different colour.

So in this case can I use 40 “Sub-alerter” with 40 different colour. It is possible or not?

           I am using BO 3.1

Thanks

Sam

    Hi,

AS per my knowledge you can include up to 30 alerters in a  document. You can apply those alerters to a maximum of 20 table columns or rows,  free-standing cells or section cells on the reports. A maximum of 10 alerters  can be applied to a single-table column or row, free-standing cell or section  cell.

Are you using alerts by row count or by Name?.

    Thanks,

    Jothi

    • Hi,

Yes, that should be fine until unless you are specifying Project manager names in the condition.

May be you can choose the line numbers and assign the colors to it, just in case colors may apply only to the rows and not to the names.

      Thanks,

      Jothi

Is there any other way to use same reflection on report but through other way.

    Thanks,

      HI Sam,

I am on BI 4.0 SP5.I just tried, and able to added more than 15 sub alerts.

Unfortunately do not have 3.1 right now with me. So could not give a try.
