DSM installation

Hi,

We want to install DSM to leverage BRFplus functionality in SAP ECC system. Please update on following queries.

• Do we need to install DSM on SAP ECC system (ECC 6.0)?
  • Will there be any impact of installing DSM on existing ECC system?
  • or do we need a new system (with a separate system ID) to install DSM ?
• In which environment of ECC systems, DSM should be installed (both in DEV and PROD or only in DEV)?
• Which Version of DSM is to be installed in ECC system (for ECC 6.0)?
