Multiple CC sender in an integrated Configuration (PO 7.31 SPS11 Java)

Hello, Could you help us ?

We have some SFTP files read from a BS sender and we want to send them to an external WebServices who send them finaly to 9 backends.

We want to be able to stop the sender communication channel only for a specific backend so we created 9 sender communication channels.

Sftp File for BS1.xml -> CC1 -> SenderInterface_Out ->BS WebService -> BackEnd1

Sftp File for BS2.xml -> CC2 -> SenderInterface_Out_Copie1 ->BS WebService -> BackEnd2

.....

Sftp File for BS9.xml -> CC9 -> SenderInterface_Out_copie9 -> BS WebService ->BackEnd3

As you can see, we duplicated 9 times the interface and created 9 integrated configuration.

Is it possible to have more than one sender Comunication Channel in the same integrated configuration to avoid this ?

I know we can create 1 sender communication channel and 9 receivers, but in this case, all messages will be in the PI backlog during the interruption of the CC receiver.

Thanks for your help

    I don't think so. But May i know what is the problem in if they wait in PI?

    If it is always a scheduled downtime.. then just stop the receiver channel for that duration.

    Once the system is up, you can start the channel which will process the messages automatically.(No need to resend manually). This way the message processing would be stopped without any retries.

      Thanks for your response,

      if we schedule the receiver communication channel no files will be read, not only files destinate to the the backend stopped but also files for the backends running.

      Backends have not the same stopped periods.

    Hello,

    U can use "sender uses virtual receiver" option while configuring ur ICO/IFlow. So, in that case u don't need to create multiple repository objects, but certianly the count of directory objects will remain the same.

      Hello,

      thanks, but i do not understand how the use of "virtual receiver» can help me.

      Do you know how this limit of one communication channels per integrated configuration ?

      Perhaps, the only solution is to use Party and reuse the same interface for all the Integrated Configuration ?

      party BackEnd1

      My BS Sender

      CC1

      ...

      party BackEndn

      My BS Sender

      CC2
