How to do Hardware Sizing for an SAP Server?

Dear All,

I have been a Part Of implementation and installed multiple systems on different Domain, but i have not done sizing part.

But now i have chance to work on SAP Server Sizing.

kindly through some light on how to do Hardware sizing , what are the Pre and Post activities for this.

Please correct me if my question is wrong.
